Father.

Yesterday we had an early father's day gift for my dad. We took him to South Padre Island on a fishing trip! All of us were in the truck enjoying the ride when...dum, dum, dum..we hit Port Isabel and the line was HUGE! However, we didn't let that stop us. An hour and a half later we reached the bridge and set off to the bay to fish away:)

At the bay we didn't catch much so we decided to eat at Parrots Eye and then go to the Pier to give it another shot and boy was it a good idea. Three fish, a crab, and 2 hours later we headed home satisfied from our wonderful afternoon and evening.

I hope my father enjoyed his early gift and I hope he knows I appreciate all he has done for all of us. I love my father because without him I wouldn't be independent, ambitious, and courageous...just like him. Every time I think about the times I almost lost him (which was more than once), it just reminds me of the great, caring, and loving man that I have in my life. Dad you are truly the strongest man I know. Thank you for always believing in me and I'm proud to say I am a Daddy's Girl:)
