Action Shots and Me Don't Mix

Tuesday I was very excited to take some action shots of my boyfriend's flag football team. The team consists of some friends that we both know from South Texas College. To no surprise they were on fire that night, however, I was not. For some reason every action shot that I tried to take came out horrible. They were out of focus, the lighting was wrong, and it was just not my day.


I was so disappointed with my work that I just wanted to give up on taking action shots forever, but then I thought  about all the other times that I've wanted to give up on things that I do and thought I can't give up! All I need is some more practice. Im going to take some action photos next Tuesday for their game again and I'll work harder to make these photos perfect.


If anyone has any suggestions or tips that I can use in these action shots it would be greatly appreciated. Im not perfect and I'm always ready to learn more:)
