Baptism: Xotchi!

I am happy to say that Xotchi is baptized. The baptism was on a cool afternoon in San Antonio, Texas. The church was big, Xotchi was small, and the families faces were full of smiles.
This has been the second baptism that I have attended and it is simply beautiful. The act of introducing the child into his or hers first step into their connection with God. Even though Xotchi does not understand right now why they have poured water all over her head while she was sleeping, she will in the end. It is wonderful that my cousins have decided to baptize her and send her into the path of faith. Having to see these baptism brings me joy and hope that these children will stay connected with God. I hope to one day baptize my own child in the future, {God willing!}
Congratulations Xotchi on your baptism and your first birthday! As well as congrats to her loving parentsYvette and Michael for having such a beautiful, loving, enthusiastic baby girl! Also I cannot forget to congratulate her madrina Brandi too!
