Graduation Portraits: Jordin Moreno UIW 2014

Last Friday I got to take my sorority sister's photos for her graduation. Its crazy because we are both graduating in May and taking her photos was just a reminder that this was all coming to an end. Well on a lighter note, taking Jordin's photos was a blast. She was easy to photograph and with the location being at the Pearl Brewery, we had a lot of great places for photo opportunities. It was also the first time I tried out my chalk board prop.

I have known Jordin for about two years already. It feels longer though, but I guess that happens when you are in a sisterhood together. Jordin is the girl next door, she is your best friend, and a nerd/ fashionista all in one. Hey hey boys she's taken! Lol

Sister I hope you love your photos!

Graduation Photos: Amanda Mares Spring 2014

I am so happy to share my beautiful sorority sister's graduation photos that I took this weekend at The Pearl in San Antonio, TX. We are both graduating this May and when it came to her announcement photos, I was definitely up for the task! Taking her photos was a breeze! It did take a while to get her loosened up but having her mom and my trusty assistant Beatriz, my little sister, in the mix helped get those natural smiles out. It didn't help that it was cold but the wind assisted in getting those super model shots. You know the ones I'm talking about; with the model's hair in the wind.
Amanda, I hope you love these photos! Love ya sister!

Graduation Portraits: Yelica December 2013

Good morning everyone! I just wanted to share with you some portraits I took last semester of my bestie, Yelica.

It was a cold and rainy afternoon that Friday and I didn't know if we would have a chance to get any good pictures. I think luck was on our side because once we started shooting the sun came out for like an hour which was all we needed to get beautiful snapshots!

I have known Yelica since I first attended UIW Fall 2011. We are partners in crime and are always there for each other when times get tough. From late night Starbucks runs to going to Target almost everyday. We made some fun memories and still do. She is and will also be my sister and my best friend.

Congrats again Yelica!
